I heart Normal Variety. Really really heart them.

Have you been to Normal Variety yet? They had my heart at the protractor in the logo.

If that doesn’t capture your heart, just step inside. It’s chock full of beautiful things. A lovely mix of handmade, vintage, and just plain cool.

Kusodama ball and train flattened pendants.

All purpose spray in lovely glass spray bottles. You can bring back the empty bottle for a thrifty exchange.

Lovely little kids’ tank tops. There’s also grown up apparel.

This little picture keeps calling me. My mom used to recite this rhyme to me and now she does for the girls. There was a crooked man who walked a crooked mile…

Burlap runners.

Vintage thermos.

Disposable bakeware, peanut butter mixer (who knew?), and gorgeous cutting boards.

Paper globe.

Turquoise mirror, hand crafted lamps with gorgeous lightbulbs, small fabric catchalls in gorgeous prints.

Look at that wood. Beautiful.

Rainbow crayons and soapstone chalk. The chalk is awesome - no chalky mess but still shows up very well on the chalkboard.

Chalkboards, dry erase boards, and cork boards in pretty reds and blues.
Radio flyer scooter.

Handmade ties in silk and cotton.

And the item that has everyone talking - handmade toddler bed with customizable and removable sides. See the little divot in the duvet? A tired little toddler came in and flopped down on it. Clearly it’s a tempting bed.
